Like most kids, I loved ballpark snow cones as a child, but as an adult I fell in love with snow cones all over again after visiting Bahama Bucks a few years ago:
Unfortunately, the price of a store-bought snow cone made it a luxury to get just one, much less nine snow cones, so a couple of years ago we invested in this shaved ice machine:
All we need to add is ice from the fridge and some syrup! I found these syrups at Hobby Lobby (here’s a similar set shipped at Amazon):
And Hobby Lobby also had snow cone cups (similar), which was so much better than finding and washing 11 cups!
The syrups were delicious and we used less than 1/4 of each one, so we’ll be able to make everyone snow cones about four times with the two bottles. 😀
Needless to say, these were a big hit, and I think we’ve more than paid for the snow cone machine with the savings! 🙂
