I love white tennis shoes. They look so bright, so happy, so new! Until they don’t anymore. 😉 For me, the timeframe from new and sparkly to old and dingy is approximately 3 weeks. What is a woman who loves white shoes to do?
Wash them!
Washing tennis shoes works! I used to be a bleach fan but it takes skill to avoid splashing or ruining other items so washing shoes was an ordeal. But last summer I had two antique couches I was desperate to whiten so I ventured out and bought some of this:

What’s in the canister? This miracle called OxiClean White Revive.
Look how beautiful my white Hoka’s came out after three-ish months of wear:

I LOVE this stuff.

I used laundry detergent and a scoop of the OxiClean powder, along with a dirty white towel for friction in the washer, and they came out beautifully. The White Revive is supposed to make things brighter than bleach and it really works- it worked on my yellowed, aged sofa cushions too!
Let me know if you try it!
